New repertoire is a central part of my practice. I work closely with composers to develop pieces in which instrumental technique, amplification, electronics and performance can be reconsidered from the ground up.
Rather than treating collaboration as a final stage of composition, these projects often develop through exchange, testing and revision. The instrument becomes part of the compositional process itself — not a fixed set of possibilities, but something that can be redesigned from piece to piece.
A new solo work developed around the physical and sonic behaviour of the
guitar, continuing an ongoing exchange around instrumental instability,
resonance and gesture.
A new work emerging from close collaboration around the electric guitar,
amplification and the relationship between physical action and electronic
sound.
A new solo work exploring the electric guitar as an unstable interface
between instrumental action, sound production and electronics.
A new work for guitar developed in dialogue with my current solo practice
and repertoire.
Further collaborations and commissions are currently in development.
